یکی دیگر از وظایف اپراتور سنگ شکن این است که ایمنی یک جنبه حیاتی در عملیات استخراج و فرآوری است. از آنجایی که سنگ شکن ها با سنگ های سخت و سنگین کار می کنند، رعایت اصول ایمنی در این دستگاه ها بسیار مهم است. در زیر برخی از اصول ایمنی در مورد سنگ شکن را فهرست می کنیم:
